About Me

Welcome to R.J. Steinert's web portfolio. If you are looking for R.J. Steinert's Blog, checkout RjSteinert.com.

I have been working as a web developer for over 4 years. Much of that time has been spent developing custom modules and themes for the Drupal content management system. Two years ago I finished my undergrad degree at the University of Vermont's School of Business Administration where I had the chance to study sustainable development in Costa Rica, green business at Ben & Jerry's, and polish my techie skills with computer science classes. I now live in Portland, OR and am working a freelance Web Developer.

VermontNannyConnection.com

Vermont Nanny Connection LLC came to me with a website in tow and looking to improve. I integrated the original concept and forms into a Drupal content management system which now allows them to customize any text, forms, and job listings on their site without having to know a thing about HTML. I also reworked their theme into an attractive new design that reinforces their own level professionalism with visiting nannies and families.

PioneerValley.com

The 'go to' website in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts for events, news, local search, and cars. I was given the banner and developed/designed an entire custom Drupal theme around it. This theme consists of both layout and block level theming.

Search Engine Optimization & Pay Per Click Campaigns

The Basics

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns are similar in how they help direct traffic to your site via a search engine. In some cases focusing strictly on Search Engine Optimization may not give your website the the traffic it deserves. For these cases, a Pay Per Click campaign may prove very helpful in directing traffic from specific keywords that are searched or specific websites on the Internet.
